Fall Update

It's update time! Apologies for my absence. I know I promised two updates in September, but this will be the only one. However, it consists of 15 entries, which is a bit more than usual. This will also be the last update until late October, since I'm taking a vacation overseas next week. While I'm gone, make sure to check out Dutchbull's site, which updates Oct. 1, and Shadowlord Inc., which has just updated.

For this update I'd like to thank all the readers who sent their suggestions, especially Daymon. I ran out of time and had to postpone a few posts (including one on Doraemon) , but I think you'll agree that this update has plenty of good stuff!

Note: this post originally contained a video from an anime titled Call Me Tonight. However, the video was taken down by Dailymotion, and then Daymon informed me that Dragoniade had long ago uploaded the video to Shadowlord Inc under the title Pink Noise. So I urge you to watch that version instead and forget about my abortive effort. My apologies!

Thanks Drake. I'll find a new video host later tonight and will update the text regarding Shadowlord.

I thought Shadowlord uploaded those scenes on his website a while ago under the title of Pink Noise

Daymon, I just checked, and you're right--my face is sure red! I'll just point folks to Shadowlord's site instead of reuploading the clip. Thanks for catching this!

But what if we don't like ShadowLord's place?

People may not like that site, so urging may be a bit of a stretch.

What is there not to like? It's the biggest transformation video archive in the world.

I know. Sorry for the false alarm. But some people may read Urge as Force.

Im not shure, but I think the comic "Extinct", which is about werewolves, can have some tf. Theres some escene about one guy turned into werewolf and his clothes are ripped. Have only 3 tomes, if you can check it.

And also if you check the comic in google, for unknown reasons show "Ursa Minor" pictures. And show tf hands

You'll be interested to know that there is a small bit of muscle growth/TF in the season finale of Rick and Morty. If I can find a video, I'll share it, but in case you find it before me, it's about 10 minutes in.

There is a Russian movie called "Guardians" (actual name is in Russian) that involve Russian superheroes. One of them is a werebear and the trailer has a short but promising transformation.

I'm not sure if this passed your radar, but in Kamen Rider Gaim there's another TF I think, I'm worried it may have been off screen where the white haired Yuuya eats a Hellheim fruit and becomes an Inves.

Special effect people should make a lot of muscles, faces, heads and bodies special makeup effects by using hundreds of inflated air bladders effects to make new monster or animal transformation videos! And they should make hundreds of age TF special makeup effects, animal species TF special makeup effects, and many aliens/mutant zombies/werecreatures/beasts/parasite monsters TF special makeup effects.

Vanzily: Thanks--I have the paperback of Extinct, sadly not much in the way of TF but I'll take another look. I'll try and find the source of that Ursa Minor image,

Jesse: Thanks! Since Daymon found the video, I'll be sure to feature it in the next update.

Anonymous: Very interesting! I'll keep an eye out for Guardians.

Dash Master: I'll look around for that one.

Anonymous: practical effects seem to be regaining some popularity, so we can only hope for the best.

I say the PRACTICAL EFFECTS are 100X lot better than CGI effects!! I really really want to see hundreds of new practical effects transformations! Like I want to see a lot of air bladders effects like guy's face & neck starts to bulge or swells into a mutant flesh monster. Nevertheless, I also want other horror transformation film makers to make many many more monster transformations but only do all practical special makeup effects, some animatronic creature or animal effects and hundreds of air bladders effects like how the way DICK SMITH did his special effects in the (1980) horror, sci-fi film "ALTERED STATES".
