Thanks to Wolfy on our Discord server for recommending these werewolf transformations from the comic book Birthright. It takes place in the fantasy world of Terrenos, whose inhabitants include a werewolf called Boomer. We start with a scan from issue 42:

Werewolf the Apocalypse in a nutshell!!
This is Wolfy! I wanted to make a correction... Boomer isn't a resident of Terrenos, he becomes a resident of terrenos. Werewolves come through with the "God King" and one of them bites Boomer, who becomes a werewolf. Later, the protagonists go to Terrenos through a portal the "mage brother" makes to go find their parents who got trapped there. It's then decided that it would be best for things "common" in Terrenos to remain, which is why Boomer decides to become a permanent resident of Terrenos.
If anyone wants to read the comic, it is a bit long and the werewolf bits are short and near the end of the comic's story.
