The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster (Hulk Transformations)

This is an update of an old post from 2016, regarding the computer-animated video created by Axis Studios for the Universal attraction "The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster." The original video had intercut two male and two female hulk-outs, all impressively rendered.

An anonymous commenter recently informed us that the male hulk-out scenes are now available separately and in full. The two videos also include unfinished sections that didn't make the final stage of animation. Sadly, Axis Studios is going out of business, so let us remember its good work by rewatching these transformations.

Tussen Jou en Mij, Poison Kiss, & Quickie 8 (Age Regression and Progression)

These three items all involve age transformations. First, an anonymous reader recommends the Dutch music video "Tussen Jou en Mij," which has some animated age regression toward the end:

Next, Ian Ricky has found an age progresion scene from the live action Chinese film Poison Kiss (1992, 毒吻). Ian provides a description: "A son was born from a chemical factory worker couple who died. The son has highly poisonous saliva, but also suffers from gigantism due to environmental pollution and grows up rapidly whenever there's a thunderstorm. He goes from a baby to a toddler, a child, and a young man. The surface of his body grows extremely poisonous and kills whatever touches it. In the end, he's struck by lightning and disappears..."

Pil's Adventures (Were-Unicorn and Chicken-Cat Transformations)

Welcome to the late summer update! We hope you'll enjoy what's in store. Thanks for your suggestions and apologies for any we missed.

We thank the anonymous commenter who suggested Pil's Adventures, a computer-animated medieval fairy tale. It was made in France but the version I obtained is the American dub (hélas!). I've edited together four transformation scenes. 

In the first, the crown prince drinks a potion that turns him into a creature with the body of a cat and head of a chicken. Even better, in the next scene there's a hunky were-unicorn! Afterward come the reversion scenes for him and the cat-chicken. Bon appétit!

Minions: The Rise of Gru (Bull, Tiger, and Baboon Transformations)

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (Dragon/Monster Transformation)

Welcome to the Winter Update! Our thanks once again to all the readers who have sent in suggestions and comments. Your support is deeply appreciated. On with the update...

Computer animation has a poor record with transformations. Traditional animation has done very well with transformation scenes, but computer animation tends to skip or elide them. Presumably this has something to do with technological and budget limitations, but in any case there have been very few memorable transformation scenes in a computer-animated cartoon feature. Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is the exception to the rule. 

According to Amazon, Transformania is "#1 streaming movie in America," so you might already have seen it. But if you just want to watch all the transformation scenes, a YouTube channel called The Male Muscle Growth Archives has helpfully uploaded them. 

Let's start with human character Johnny transforming into a dragon-like monster:

Next, the monster characters turn human, and we see Johnny briefly go more demonic:

Johnny gets angry and grows bigger and more monstrous:

There's also a disappointing reversion scene, but it does show Johnny in Godzilla form.

Quickie 6 (Age Progression & Muscle Growth)

This well-rendered animation by AgeGrowthFictions shows a skinny weakling turning into a big strong man. Definitely NSFW. This free video was originally uploaded to the artists's Subscribestar account, which I encourage you to visit along with his Deviantart account.
