Our thanks to Mr. TF for recommending this horror film through our Discord server. The TF begins at 01:04:10 (the video is cued). After watching through to 01:06:10, you can skip ahead to 01:08:26 to see the creature's final form (alas, his transition is offscreen).

Comic and Video Roundup (Werewolf, Muscle Growth, Monster, Ape, Demon, Goat Transformations)

Daymon here, bringing you a cornucopia of comics and a selection of short videos.
We begin with a suggestion by Samuel, a werewolf transformation from the webcomic Dillion and Richmond, found here.

His next suggestion is from the Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic:

The remainder of this post is from Apuleius...
* Here is a suggestion from Mr Anonymo--a muscle-growth manga called Doukyuusei no Maccho-kun, which has three clothes-bursting scenes in:
Chapter 01 (keep reading to page 29)
Chapter 02 (keep reading to page 24)
Chapter 03 (keep reading to page 6)

* Some DC Comics recommendations from I'm Da Flashes:
A monster-to-human reversion scene from Just Imagine: Stan Lee's Shazam! And another.
Aquaman #20 also has a monster-to-human reversion.
An ape-to-human scene from Legends Of The DC Universe #19

* Remember that Hulk-out Animation from the Hulk ride at Universal Studios? The transformations were impressive but scrambled--now Sinistro has re-edited them in chronological order. Take a look.

* Ian R. suggested this extended/deleted scene transformation from Amazing Spiderman 2, which features Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) in a longer, more grotesque Green Goblin transformation:

* Aaron S. suggests this short TF from episode 2 of Hunter x Hunter (2011), of a mimic creature reverting to a beast from its fake human form.

* Here's a Spanish-language blog of Body-Swap Manga.

* The last item is something of a bonus. I held off on posting it, because most of the multi-stage transformation takes place off-screen but several people have recommended it, so I've given in. "The Secret of Goat" involves a gradual TF into the title animal. The stages are seen at the following times:
8:14 -- hair on neck
9:24-9:30 -- tail, hairy palms
10:24 -- first bleat
11:10 -- horns, snout

Klaw (Tiger, chicken, horse, goat, dog, bull, and pig transformations)

Klaw is a French comic drawn in a semi-manga style. It's the story of a teenager who finds out he can change into a tiger-man.
Let's start with the first tiger transformation, from Vol. 01. It's a bit underwhelming, but read onward:

Here's a better TF scene:

The next page shows the hero testing his powers:

Now we move on to Vol. 02. Here's a scene of the hero and his mentor reverting and transforming into their tiger forms:

Another short tiger TF:

Later we meet an elderly Asian man who can change into chicken dude:

In Vol. 03 the hero stumbles upon a dying friend and reverts to human form:

Then he absorbs his friend's goat transformation powers:

A partial tiger TF:

Followed by a tiger-horse-goat!

Later on, our costumed hero goes from anthro-goat form to full horse:

The next pic is only for foot and hoof fetishists!

Let's move on to Vol. 04. Here's a classic tiger transformation:

Followed by a sudden pig TF:

Then we get a horse TF and reversion:

Our last scans come from Vol. 05. Here's a guy turning into a dog-man:

And here's a gangster becoming a bull:

The scans from Vol. 04 and 05 were from different sources and had to be reassembled by me, so forgive their choppiness.
Last but not least, if you're intrigued by this comic, Vol. 01 will be translated into English next year, so keep an eye out for tiger-men in a comic shop near you!

Pan's Grotto (Goat and Satyr Transformations)

This comic by the TF artist Navetsea was clearly inspired by the man-to-satyr-to-goat transformation in the "Blind Pilots" music video (which can be seen in an earlier post). But unlike the music video, it has a more upbeat and...orgiastic ending (making it not safe for work). Read it here.

As a bonus for satyr lovers, here's a link to Navetsea's similarly-themed comic "Cleon and the Cursed Flute."

EDIT: Someone reported encountering malware while accessing Navetsea's site. Though I had no problems, I felt I should report this.

Blind Pilots (Satyr/Goat Transformation)

Today's video is a transformation classic...which is why I was reluctant to post it, since I assume lots of TF fans are already familiar with the music video of "Blind Pilots," a song by the band Cooper Temple Clause. And so they are, but they've made multiple requests to re-see it, so I've decided to post "Blind Pilots."

This gloriously idiosyncratic video starts with a bloke stepping out for his bachelor party. Before he does, his fiancee places a necklace (with a bell talisman) on him. The bachelor party devolves into a drunken mess, and the talisman turns the would-be groom into a real satyr. Reveling in booze and girls, this latter-day Pan doesn't notice the continuing effects of the talisman until it's too late and he turns into a complete party animal...

It's a terrific concept joined with fluid special effects (an excellent melding of CGI and prosthetics), a good-looking guy, and classical mythology. The guy happens to be none other than a pre-fame Michael Fassbender, which unfortunately means a bimbo-load of fangirls have left heaps of idiotic comments displaying their ignorance of even basic mythology. "Blind Pilots" is hardly difficult to understand or even that strange; it's a moralistic allegory. The groom acts like a self-centered boor, breaks the trust of his friends and future wife, and becomes a party god. And while that might look cool for a while, acting like an animal has its consequences...

P.S. The making-of video for "Blind Pilots" is also online, though the video quality is bad. If you're interested, here are parts one, two, and three.
