Thanks to ClassyMike and Noodles from our Discord server for finding and recommending these scenes from the fantasy TV series. One its protagonists, Kavan, is "a young warrior cursed to become a werebear." Last year we covered his transformation from the first episode, and now we have two more for you.

Magic Animals (Bear Transformation)

In this illustrated Spanish-language book, one of the characters gains the ability to turn into an anthropoid bear. Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for locating and suggesting the material. 

 

 

The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin (Werebear Transformation)

Thanks to ClassyMike and Thel-caedra-cadavain on our Discord server for recommending this Halloween special episode.

In the first part of the clip, the gang tries to ensnare a werebear that's been attacking travelers, but they end up trapped with him during the full moon instead. In the second part the werebear is cornered by a hunter and transforms again:

Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven (Bear, tiger, cheetah, and wolf transformations)

Last year we covered the first Beast Boy comic in DC's"Graphic Novels for Young Adults" series. This year we bring you the second, where he meets up with Raven. 

In an early scene Gar partially transforms into a bear while fighting a mugger:

In the climax he's kidnapped by evil scientists and forced to transform into various animals:

Luckily some friends stage a rescue. Beast Boy escapes by turning into a tiger:

Klaw V.12 (Bear and Tiger Transformations)

This looks like the last volume of the French comic series abut shapeshifters. We covered the first  volumes in a lengthy post from 2015, along with a follow-up. Now we arrive at volume 12, which starts with a bear transformation:

Teen Titans: Beast Boy (Coyote and Bear Transformations)

This retelling of Beast Boy's origin is part of DC's "Graphic Novels for Young Adults" series, which means it's intended for young teenagers more interested in high school drama than superheroes. 

The good stuff begins when Garfield Logan grows six inches overnight:

Eventually Garfield/Beast Boy transforms for the first time, into a coyote:

When his friends are surrounded by wolves, Gar is forced to transform yet again, this time into a Grizzly Bear:

Archibald contre les Loups-Garous (Bear and Werewolf Transformations)

 Volume 2 of the French comic book series Archibald is titled Contre les Loups-Garous (Against the Werewolves). Though a werewolf is involved, the real villain is a were-bear.

We start with a mysterious man in a top hat having a drink at a bar:

The mysterious man in the top hat later engages in a bit of streetfighting:

The mysterious man runs into Archibald (the hero of the series), who introduces him to Archibald's new friend Jean, who is also a bit mysterious.

And now the climax. The mysterious man in the hat turns out to be the ringmaster of a circus freak show and is exhibiting Jean as a werewolf. 

Archibald demands that Jean be released. When the ringmaster whips them, Jean breaks out of his cage and attacks the ringmaster, who turns into a bear:

Rest assured that Jean gets his freedom!

L'école de Pan (Cat and Bear Transformations)

This French comic series is about a school for apprentice superheroes. One of the students is Felix, who has the ability to transform into a cat (an anthropoid cat, to be exact). Here are all the transformation scenes I could find. Everything is in French.

The Pride (Bear Transformation and Reversion)

Kumaguma here with a transformation from The Pride, a comic about a group of superheroes that are LGBT individuals who give representation while fighting prejudice and injustice. In Season 2, Issue #6, the former superhero Bear transforms back into his ursine form during a fit of rage:
