Invincible (Muscle Growth)

Satan regains his true form in this diabolical clip from the fourth episode of season four ("Hurm"):

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Blob/Monster Transformation)

Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for recommending these scenes from episode 12 of the second season. They show the villain Roderick Underwood turning into "Muckman." The clip has been assembled from several discontinous scenes, so apologies if it's a bit choppy:

Regular Show (Dragon and Skunk Transformations)

Here's a man-to-dragon transformation from "Guitar of Rock" (Season 5, Episode 23). Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for the link:

Posting that clip reminded me that long time ago we posted the raccoon-to-wereskunk scenes from "Skunked" (season 2, epsiode 27), but the video links died a while ago. So here are new ones!

First we see Rigby undergo temporary muscle growth and feralization:

At night he transforms further:

Robotomy (Monster Transformation)

A robot somehow turns into a monster in the ninth episode of this cartoon. Thanks again to Andréssaurio Rex for the recommendation.

"Monkey Wrench" & "Primal" (Muscle Growth)

From episode 4 of the webseries: After Beebs refuses Campion Ajax's offer and shrugs him off, the latter grows with wrath:

And continuing with the monstrous-muscle-growth theme, here's a scene of a male dinosaur hulking up, from Primal (season 3, ep. 10). Thanks to Mr. Rex for the recommendation.

"Biker Mice From Mars" & "Acme Arsenal" (Muscle Growth and Monster Transformations)

Andréssaurio Rex suggested featuring the muscle growth scenes from this '90s cartoon. Luckily for lazy people like myself, The Male Muscle Growth Archives has already assembled a compilation of them! Go directly to the video's description for the episode titles.

Mr. Rex also recommended this short cutscene from the video game Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, which also features muscle growth and monsterism, so I've included it as a bonus:

Superman: The Animated Series (Monster Transformation)

In episode 10 of this classic cartoon, a villain known as "The Preserver" reveals his true form. Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for the link.

The Mighty Nein (Monster and Crow Transformations)

Welcome to the Christmas update! Apologies for the long wait, but now you can celebrate the holidays with 39 new posts. Thanks as always to everyone who sent in recommendations, and we hope you have a Happy New Year. May we enjoy for plenty more transformations in 2026!

Post-Script: Several readers notified us that in some of the comic posts there were thumbnails that didn't enlarge when clicked. We have now fixed them. But if you encounter any other issues, let us know. Now on with the update...

Thanks to the many people who recommended episode 3 from The Mighty Nein. During a circus show the Devil Toad goes berserk and shoots out mutagenic needles that transform anyone hit into his monstrous thralls.

Three men are shown transforming onscreen--a member of the audience, an acrobat, and the ringmaster:

But there's more! Andréssaurio Rex informed us of a crow transformation in the most recent episode (eight), and here it is!

Solar Opposites (Monster, Muscle Growth, and Transgender Transformations)

Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for finding these!

From episode four of season six: Korvo (one of the main characters) is having an argument with his daughter Jesse, who wants to be a dad (after playacting as one and enjoying the perks). She gets accidentally doused with a chemical that turns her into a literal Dad:

From episode 10 of season six: a monster who feeds on negativity gets an overload, causing him to grow too much. Shortly afterward, "The Pupa" turns from a grub into a snake-like monster:

Spongebob Squarepants (Werecreature Transformation)

This one is a bit difficult to classify...SpongeBob gets bitten by DoodleBob (a crudely drawn caricature of SpongeBob) and turns into a "weredoodle." Thanks to the tireless Andréssaurio Rex for finding this episode (#321a, "Curse of the WereDoodle").

There's a second transformation at 3:52, by the way.

Today in Marvel History (Lizard Transformation)

Our thanks to Robyn on our Discord server for recommending this video, which shows that on Earth-65 the Lizard has a different alter-ego:

Rick and Morty (Wererabbit Transformations)

In the season 8 episode 4, Jerry runs over the Easter Bunny and starts turning into a wererabbit. Rick attempts to cure Jerry but this leads to the family getting transformed one at a time. Thanks to Noodles on our Discord server for providing the clip (and to everyone who told us about the episode). Scene transitions may be choppy, since the transformation was multi-staged:

Hammer and Bolter (Monster Transformation)

Thanks to Andréssaurio Rex for finding this "Chaos Spawn Monster transformation" from episode 10 of the streaming cartoon Hammer and Bolter. The transformation begins at 3:54:

YOLO (Werewolf Transformation)

This is an Adult Swim cartoon, so it's best not to ask what's going on. The transformation is from season 3, ep. 3:

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft (Monster Transformation)

Thanks to A.M. Studios for alerting us to this scene from the latest Lara Croft cartoon (episode 7). The  villain absorbs magical stones into his body, which transform him into a monster resembling the pixiu, a monster from Chinese mythology that resembles a winged lion. This clip, assembled from various scenes, includes a reversion at the end:

The Strange Chores (Werewolf Transformation)

Episode 9 of season 3 of this Australian cartoon shows one of the main characters coming down with lycanthropy. Many thanks to Trekoid for obtaining the video!

Le College Noir (Werewolf Transformation)

Welcome to the fall update! We have 26 new posts for you. Enjoy, and thanks again for all your suggestions and contributions.

Episode six of the French cartoon Le College Noir features an elderly man and his younger friends facing off against a monster-hag. The old man is more than meets the eye:

Don't worry, he's just injured!

Boy & Dragon (Muscle Growth/Monster Transformation)

Here's the tagline for "Full Moon-icorn," the ninth episode from the third season of Boy & Dragon: "When Girl drops off Unicorn at Boy and Dragon's, her precious pony transforms into a ferocious Were-Unicorn."

I'm not entirely sure if the unicorn is male but the buff monster it turns into definitely looks it!

Adventure Time (Monster Transformation)

The Adventure Time short "Frog Season: Summer" shows a frog growing monstrous after it's forced to wear a crown:

Victor and Valentino (Dragon Transformation)

In the series finale Sal remembers who he is, the Aztec god, Quetzalcoatl, and transforms into his draconic form to fight his brother:
