The Pride (Bear Transformation and Reversion)

Kumaguma here with a transformation from The Pride, a comic about a group of superheroes that are LGBT individuals who give representation while fighting prejudice and injustice. In Season 2, Issue #6, the former superhero Bear transforms back into his ursine form during a fit of rage:

Here is his post-battle reversion, which occurs while kissing his boyfriend:

Werewolf Round-Up 04/20 (Werewolf Transformations)

All of the items in this round-up were recommended to us by Ian Ricky, who also provides commentary for some of them. Thanks Ian!

"Detroit Chop Shop, Season 6: Bonus - A Hard Dog's Night"
Technically the creature in this live action web short this isn't quite a werewolf, but it is descended from wolves!

***

Night Hunger is a "faux-retro viral ad for KFC; tested but never used." Fortunately this spoof grindhouse trailer for a non-existent 1970s werewolf film was released online by its makers:

***

Here's the simply titled "werewolf short animation":

On to international TV... Sítio do Picapau Amarelo (2002), aka "The Yellow Woodpecker Farm (or Ranch) is a TV series adaptation of fantasy novels written by Brazilian author Monteiro Lobato. This episode, from the arc 'O Cangaceiro Lobisomem,' features a character named Itamar transforming into a bad-cgi werewolf."

(03:05)

And in a later adaptation of the books, O Preço do Verdadeiro Amor (2005), a younger character also becomes a werewolf through the magic of cheap CGI:

***

But when it comes to bad CGI, Brazil can't beat India. Clap your eyes on Aahat (आहट) (S05E13) (30:20):

If that wasn't enough for you, there's a second transformation (at 38:39).

Finally, here's a homemade film, Blue Moon, a "transformation parody of An American Werewolf in London":

Saur Transformation (Dinosaur Transformation)

'Tis I, Kumaguma, bringing you another transformation from Stahlflower Animation 'n Art. In this video, we get a 3D transformation of a man transforming into a Velociraptor. In my opinion, it's an improvement compared to their previous works and I'm sure we'll see more work of this quality in the future.

Art Round-Up 04/20 (Various Animal, Monster, and Transgender Transformations)

Let's start with two webcomics.

* Kirkewood has a blue fuzzy monster transformation, starting here. (And here's a twitter version of the scene.)

* You should be familiar with the excellent Urban Animal, since we've devoted earlier two blog posts to it (located here and here). I'm happy to report that recent chapters continue feature animal transformations.

30 (bull--technically starts in 29)

34 (brief eagle)

42 (rhino, wolf, dragon reversion)

44 (partial bull)

45 (chimera)

50 (partial puma, quick dinosaur)

Now we'll move on to some comic sequences found online...

The artist Solone has produced three excellent digital comics (all NSFW) with male characters. You can guess their subjects from their titles, which are:
"Moonlight Incidental"

"Sunlight Incidental"

"Cat Scratch Fever - Special Delivery"

A NSFW comic titled "Ask The Werewolves"

Female to male transgender sequences are relatively rare online, but an individual named Amele1234 has commissioned three, which can be viewed in their deviantart gallery.

A short NSFW devil sequence from Angrboda--it starts here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's take a look at some Twitter finds...

I recommend checking out all of the art on the account of Kornepheross. I particularly like these dragon and skunk TFs.

Some female-to-male transgender goodness from @MadamSquishie (NSFW)

A cute werewolf infection scene from @MiZuKeN001

Some man-to-wolf heads from @tagawa_mi

Two tiger transformation gifs -- they're from a concept art for a comic called "Kung Fu Is Dead"

A werewolf transformation sequence from @daveswartzart

A cute werewolf boyfriend from @Axeliacat

Another werewolf TF gif, recommended by an anonymous commenter. Art by @Mad__Machine

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And here are some favorites from Furaffinity. We'll start with three excellent animations:

"Werewolf TF commission" by harborsorts (and be sure to check out this artist's gallery)

"Other Side" by RTF-M (NSFW female-to-male rarity)

"Graetz paw TF [3D]" by Grasky (lynx)

We continue with non-animated works:

"Great Catch!" by Hhazard (werewolf)

"Suddenly Saddled" by Scrappyvamp (horse, NSFW)

"5 Second Rule" by Gibbons (werewolf)

"Love, Equinally 2/2" by chesshire88 (female-to-male & horse, NSFW)

"Canine Transition" by wwbot (werewolf penis, NSFW [obviously!])

"TF, Inc. 2: The Exposé" by ChinchillaNilla (bull, NSFW)

"Fetch" by bubbeh (dog, NSFW)

The following artworks are all NSFW and involve werewolves:

"Risk and Reward" by Trixythespiderfox

"wolf tf"  by husdingo

"Howl" by Lady-Lizard

"Sick Transformation, Bro" by TastyToxins

"Ruins" by phrannd (first page of a multi-page comic)

Mako Finn (Shark Reversion and Transformation)

Kumaguma here with a transformation from the comic Mako Finn. Warning: this is NSFW!
In the third issue Piranha had captured Warren and mutated him into a sharkman. Thanks to his wife he managed to revert back to a human, but not without an orgasm:

After finding two sharkmen having their way with a young man Warren transforms into a beast again and goes on a rampage:

Ulula (Werewolf Transformation)

Ulula is one of those raunchy sex-and-horror comics that the Italians loved cranking out during the 1970s. Issue 34 features werewolves and is definitely NSFW. Prego!

Asian Cinema Round-Up (Muscle growth, Monster, Kaiju, Alien, and Element Transformations)

Thanks once again to Ian Ricky for curating this list of transformations in Asian superhero, horror, and supernatural films. He's also provided commentary on his selections.

快递侠 (Express Man, 2018)
"Sorry, I don't know much Chinese, so I will translate as much as I can. This is a mainland Chinese movie about ordinary civilians who have superpowers. Near the end of the movie an evil scientist mutates the genes of one of the protagonists, the security chief (played by actor Peng Yan; 彭禺厶), who then turns into a very hot muscular creature named 钢铁侠 (literally Iron Man)."

"Later, Express Man and friends teamed up to free the chief of his evil gene mutation and he reverts  to normal (I don't know why Express Man punched him twice afterward though)."

***

"It's rare to find a movie where a man transforms into a Kaiju, but I've finally found one in the Japanese movie Ultraman the Next (2004). Takafumi Udo (played by actor Kenya Oosumi) has been possessed by a mysterious ball of blue light and starts progressively mutating into a monster after being shot by his fiancee.

00:00 1st Form - Spiky and Scaly Skin.  00:52 2nd Form - Lizard.   01:09 3rd Form - Idorobia.

02:22 4th Form - Reputiria.  03:26 Normal Form - Human Revert (Shirtless Scene).

05:06 1st Form - Growing Limbs.  06:05 1st Form - Growing mire Limbs 06:50.

4th Form - Reputiria.  07:13 5th Form - Beruzebua. 08:30 6th Form - Beruzebua-Korone."

Loser Vs. Aliens (小强大战外星人, 2019)
"An alien has terrorrized China! It begins when an alien possesses a man in the factory and then the police chief who captures him (Pujun Han). Then he begins infecting multiple citizens. Near the end, the protagonists finally face him and his mob of infected citizens. He mutates his arm into a crab-like claw and grabs the girl. A boy tries to rescue her by pouring water on the chief; he gets enraged and transforms into a bigger alien (06:20). The boy then decides to cure all the infected by making rain from a water tower. Everyone returns to normal."

***

Cyclops (キクロプス, 1987)
The story of three struggling mutants; Miyuki, her older brother Kyo (Kazuhiro Sano), and a man in sunglasses, Michio Sonezaki (Kai Atô). Miyuki gets pregnant and Sonezaki tries to kill her baby in the hospital. He is confronted by Kyo. The two men turn into mutants and eventually fuse together. Miuyki is also a mutant; at the end she and her baby fuse together.

Impossible (不可思异, China, 2015)
Memeda, an alien from outer space, possesses a depressed man named Tang Liguo (Wang Baoqiang) who just lost his daughter in a car accident. When gangsters threaten Liguo, he transforms into the alien. Sadly only the first part of the transformation occurs onscreen.

"Mulawin vs. Ravena (2017)  is an Filipino fantasy television series about two races of winged humanoids; Mulawin and the evil Ravenas. Almiro (Derrick Monasterio) is a half-blood Mulawin  who has always been mocked for having a lump on his back. It turns to contain a pair of wings. He later becomes monarch of the Mulawin kingdom of Avila.
Next we see Rafael Montenegro (Kiko Estrada), a half-blood Ravena and the best friend turned nemesis of Almiro. He ends up in the hospital after painfully growing a back lump and future wings. He flies to the Ravena kingdom and becomes its monarch, until Almiro kills him."

Don't Starve Together (Beaver, Demon, and Reversion transformation)

Kumaguma here with some transformations from the animated short Don't Starve Together: Tree's a Crowd, which is based on the survival game. In the clip below Woodie is attacked by a living tree and tries to fight it by shapeshifting. The first transformation happens at 00:17, where he changes into a werebeaver. At 00:43, he reverts from his were-goose form, and after being beaten as a were-moose, he then reverts back 1:15.

Another short, Don't Starve Together: Possessions, shows the origin of the imp Wortox. After angering Krampus he ends up manifesting a curse which absorbs Krampus (at 01:25). This possession causes the imp to become redder and grow bigger horns and a fuzzier tail.

"A Scary Animation" and Fixed Links (Cockroach Transformation)

Thanks to Ian Ricky for recommending this student animation, which shows an unfortunate young man turning into literal vermin:

Update on April 6

Hello everyone, Sorry for the long hiatus between updates. Winter simply wasn't a good season for transformations. Since many of you are spending more time at home, we've decided to brighten up your confinement with an update next week, on Monday, April 6.

Victor and Valentino (Donkey and Rooster Transformations)

UPDATE TIME!

Back in March we received a comment from Featherwolf, who wrote "I'd keep an eye on that new Cartoon Network show Victor and Valentino. It's a show about ancient Mexican spirits and monsters so there's bound to be a transformation at some point."

Seven months later our wish came true: in episode 39 ("On Nagual Hill"), Victor and Valentino endanger several animals while building a water slide for their friends. A shapeshifter punishes them by transforming the pair into a rooster and a donkey. Thankfully the animators decided to put in  some body horror, so we get a good scene.

Primal (Muscle Growth)

This is co-editor Kumaguma, bringing you a transformation from the new Gendy Tartakovsky cartoon Primal, discovered by  Musclelover on our blog's Discord server. In the fifth episode, Spear the caveman and the tyrannosaurus Fang are captured by apes and made to fight with warriors in an arena. The shaman that surveys the combat gives the apes a drop of a potion that increases their muscles and aggression. Spear manages to free himself and drink the entire potion, hulking out against his captors:
