I, Vampire (Wolf & Werewolf Transformations)

This 2013 series revived the old DC comics vampie character Andrew Bennett, but also gave him enhanced shapeshifting skills: he could turn into a wolf and a werewolf, and could also change into mist.

In issue four Andrew shows another vampire how to shift into werewolf form:

The other vampire then goes into a bar and transforms:

In issue six Batman guest stars. He and Bennett are battling several other vampires. A boy vampire, glimpsed in the first image, turns into a wolf in the second. 

Bennett turns into a wolf to follow him:

He shifts to werewolf form off-panel:

Doraemon (Wolf Transformation)

Doraemon has continually cranked out episodes since 1979, so some stories from the manga have been adapted over and over again. For example, "The Wolf Family," has been adapted five times! The latest version aired in January. For the earlier ones, and some transformations involving other species, see our Doraemon megapost from several a years back (all its links have been fixed).

Back to the 2025 version! It's from episode 844 of the current season. Doraemon (the blue cat with magical gadgets) points a flashlight at Nobita (his human friend) and the "Moonbeam Torchlight" transforms Nobita into a wolf, so he interact with a wolf family nearby. Toward the end Nobita reverts to human form at the worst possible time. Both scenes are in this clip:

The Originals (Wolf Transformation)

This clip has been on my "maybe" list for years, because the camera cuts away right when the transformation gets interesting. But a partial TF is better than none at all, especially in these lean times. The clip is from season two, episode 21 of The Originals. The villain finds a way to forcibly and permanently transform all the werewolves into wolves, including his ex's boyfriend:

 

Nightmare (Werewolf and Hundwere Transformations)

Have another helping of '70s horror comics. From Nightmare #01, the hero confronts a suspected werewolf. Little does he know...

("Wereman" is incorrect by the way, since "wer" is Old Saxon for "man." This creature is technically a hundwere, since "hund" is Old Saxon for "dog.")

Teen Titans: Earth One & Beast Boy: Lone Wolf (Cat, Wolf and Kaiju Transformations)

Teen Titans: Earth One was an alternate universe version of the team, and volume two features a couple Beast Boy transformations. I've re-edited and combined several panels and pages, so please forgive any choppy transitions. 

First we see Beast Boy revert back from wolf form:

Later that night he turns into some sort of cat (or wolf?) when the Titans are attacked:

Lastly, at the climax he turns back into a cat to combat the villain:

Let's switch media but not character, to the animated webseries Beast Boy: Lone Wolf. In this clip Beast Boy plans on taking on Starro but can't get the transformation right and gets depressed. But thanks to a motivational speech from Mikie, he ends up pushing himself to new heights and sizes:

Titans: Beast World (Lion, Starfish, Turtle, Wolf, Cat, and Fox Transformations)

This multi-issue crossover series involves various superheroes being transformed into beast-people. I thought the story was rather dopey and I was underwhelmed by the transformations, but let's see what you think. 

The fun starts in Titans: Beast World #1. Beast Boy, while in whale form, turns into the alien Starro (a really big starfish):

Then, to make a long story short, little starros start falling from the sky and into people's mouths, turning them into anthropoid beasts. Black Adam is the first to transform:

 

The fun continues in Titans: Beast World Tour Metropolis, when Jimmy Olsen turns into a giant turtle (which he's done on other occasions). He attacks a bridge and eventually turns back to normal:

In Titans: Beast World #2, Batman gets infected with a spore by another beast-person and turns into a man-wolf (why not a vampire bat?):

In Nightwing #109, Damian Wayne (obnoxious son of Bruce), the current Robin, is force-fed a spore and gets in touch with his feline side:

 

He turns back to normal in Nightwing #110:

 

Nightwing himself becomes a real fox in Titans #6 and 7--he reverts in the latter issue as well:
