Our thanks go to "Shiloh, Kamapua's Rider" on our Discord channel for recommending this cartoon clip, where several trainee gladiators get turned into animals for a circus. 

From the same animation company comes Fantaghirò, a cartoon adaptation of a live-action fantasy series that we covered many years ago. In episode 8 a charactrer turns into a monster when the heroine attempts to kiss him, and reverts when she succeeds in doing so:

Phantom Hollow (Gorilla Reversion)

Kumaguma here with a transformation from the pilot episode for Phantom Hollow. Thanks to eating an artifact called an O.O.P.arts, the character Gargenell is transformed into a giant gorilla monster. After getting into a fight and vomiting, he reverts back to his smaller form.

Rated A For Awesome (Monkey Transformation)

Rated A For Awesome is a computer animated series made in Canada. In episode 12 (or 24, since each episode consists of two stories), the main character Les gets his DNA mixed with a monkey's. The first part of his transformation starts at school--sadly the second part occurs off camera. I've roughly edited together a  video for your enjoyment...

Jumanji (Various Animal Transformations)

Jumanji the movie featured one of the characters, a young boy named Peter, turning into a monkey. The animated series followed up on this by turning Peter into all sorts of things (that's the glory of animation--transformation scenes don't require an FX budget). No wonder TF fans like me were so fond of the show. The only problem was that it was hard to find and wasn't repeated very often. But now you can watch nearly every episode to your heart's content, thanks to a kind fellow on Youtube. His videos are here.
As for which to watch? Well, here's a little TF guide:
