Webtoon Round-Up (Rhino and Werewolf Transformations)

Webtoons are a type of digital webcomic comic that originated in South Korea and designed to be read on smartphones. We bring you a half dozen of them. 

* In episode five of The Ordeal, Tevin Matthias Charles uses his Hide Forge talent during a deadly battle   to gain a literal rhino hide. 

All of the remaining webtoons in this post were recommended to us on our Discord channel by Discounted_Milk. Thanks!

* In Escape Cal survives a werewolf attack and then experiences his first transformation, starting here in episode 6. It continues into the next chapters.

* Episode 97 of The Hunt  Rys starts wolfing out to protect his crush Avery from a supposed ghost. Continue reading through to episode 100. 

* In chapter two of Peripety Leif encounters a stranger while escaping his village. The stranger turns into a werewolf and then bites Leif, who transforms too.

* In chapter 1.15 of Run.Stop.Go the werewolf Kurt encounters a vampire in the restroom and accidentally transforms in anger. Click through to the next two pages for the rest. There's also a quick reversion at 01.25.

* Sweet Talk is not a webtoon but a webcomic, which is close enough for our purposes. In chapter 1, page 7,  Alexander starts transforming into a werewolf while a vampire watches (click the next pages to see the rest). In ch. 2 page 7 he reverts to human form.

Marvel's Spiderman: Maximum Venom (Rhino Reversion and Transformation)

In episode 4 of season 3 Spider-Man and his team manage to revert a rhino-human hybrid back to human form. It is only temporary,  since he soon transforms back into a rhino:

Our thanks to Metabee17 for pointing out that in the next episode the Lizard (aka Dr. Kurt Connors) returns and Norman Osborn becomes the Dark Goblin (after getting symbiote poured all over him). Osborn had promised to cure Dr. Connors's transformations if Connors helped him become the Dark Goblin. Connors fulfilled the bargain but Osborn betrayed him. 

Art Round-Up 04/20 (Various Animal, Monster, and Transgender Transformations)

Let's start with two webcomics.

* Kirkewood has a blue fuzzy monster transformation, starting here. (And here's a twitter version of the scene.)

* You should be familiar with the excellent Urban Animal, since we've devoted earlier two blog posts to it (located here and here). I'm happy to report that recent chapters continue feature animal transformations.

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts (Dragon, Werewolf, Lizard, Rhino, Hydra, and Monster Transformation)

Kumaguma here with transformations from the anime To The Abandoned Sacred Beasts, which involves soldiers called Incarnates who can transform into a mythical creature as a secret weapon to win a war. I managed to get several TFs from some various episodes. Here is the transformations from episode 1:

Marvel's Spider-Man (Rhinoceros Transformation)

I'm happy to report that the new Spider-Man cartoon continues to deliver transformations--in episode 18 ("The Rise of Doc Ock, Part III") the Rhino returns and starts turning other folks into Rhino-men too. It's like the writers wanted to give me material!

I also wanted to suggest the writer Nex Anima Canis, who has written lots of stories and has even published an e-book last year on Amazon here. I have read most of his work and it's very good. My favorites are his My Life is Super, Arcadia, the Highschool is Hell series, and his newest series: Cayden Wilde. Jumanji (Various Animal Transformations)

Jumanji the movie featured one of the characters, a young boy named Peter, turning into a monkey. The animated series followed up on this by turning Peter into all sorts of things (that's the glory of animation--transformation scenes don't require an FX budget). No wonder TF fans like me were so fond of the show. The only problem was that it was hard to find and wasn't repeated very often. But now you can watch nearly every episode to your heart's content, thanks to a kind fellow on Youtube. His videos are here.
