Devilman Crybaby (Demon/Monster Transformations)

UPDATE TIME! After a brief January hibernation we've returned with a larger update than expected. Thanks to everyone who contributed suggestions. 2018 is off to a good start!

***

Thanks to Daymon, Max. V., and Ian Ricky for recommending this obviously popular (and stylish) new anime.

Episode 1 has a minor demon transformation, followed by Devilman's first metamorphosis:

Episode 2 has a few bad guys turning into demons, followed by another Devilman morph:

From episode 3, a quick demon shift, then more of Devilman getting devilih (and reverting):

Episode 4 has more of our hero assuming devil form:

Episode 5 has Devilman transforming again, followed by a man turning into an electrical demon, followed by Devilman reverting. This clip also includes a short demon transformation from episode 10.

Lastly, episode 6 opens with a NSFW dream sequence of a guy turning into a demon. Then Devilman undergoes another transformation. Finally, the guy who had the bad dream turns into a bull demon, and a Devilman transforms to stop him:

Marvel's Spider-Man (Rhinoceros Transformation)

I'm happy to report that the new Spider-Man cartoon continues to deliver transformations--in episode 18 ("The Rise of Doc Ock, Part III") the Rhino returns and starts turning other folks into Rhino-men too. It's like the writers wanted to give me material!

Killing Bites (Lion Transformation)

This Daymon, bringing you a leonine transformation from the anime, Killing Bites. Hopefully there will be more in the future episodes!

EDIT: if the file above doesn't play, try this one:

Popeye and Son (Monster Transformations)

My thanks to Bro43man for digging up this transformation-rich episode (counted as either #9 or 17), titled "Dr. Junior and Mr. Hyde." As the title implies, Popeye Junior and his friend Woody accidently drink a mad scientist's formula and turn into monsters. They transform several times and manage to get revenge on bullies (including Bluto's son). This clip is edited together from various scenes:

"Harley Quinn" and "Jughead: The Hunger" (Bat and Werewolf Transformations)

Welcome to our goofball comic pairing!
First up is a Man-Bat reversion from Harley Quinn #35:

***

Moving on, here's some lycanthropic action from Jughead: The Hunger #3.
In the first group of scans, Jughead and his cousin transform--later on they're ambushed and Jughead has a quick reversion:

In the second part, Reggie recruits a new werewolf pack, whose members bond by transforming together:

Tai Chi Chasers (Monster Reversion)

Daymon here, with a reversion scene from episode 20 of Tai Chi Chasers--a draconic monster returns back to his human form:

Mystic Belle (Werewolf transformation)

This is Daymon, bringing you a scene from the Metrodvania retro game, Mystik Belle, which features a werewolf transformation from one of the bosses:

Ben 10 (2016) (Multiple transformation)

Daymon here, with a transformation from the 2016 Ben10 reboot (the episode is "Animorphosis"). Dr. Animo is transformed into the alien version of Rath after going through phases of different aliens, and later turns back into a human.

What We Do in the Shadows (Werewolf Transformation)

Thanks to Daymon for recommending this clip from the vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows. The vampires confront a group of werewolves who are about to transform, and the comedy stems from taking a realistic approach to the scenario:

Night of the Wereorc (Werewolf Transformation)

Daymon here with an NSFW transformation animation by AnimaAnimus titled "Night of the Wereorc":

"Alabaster: Wolves" and "Pure of Heart" (Werewolf Transformations)

Thanks to Samuel G. for recommending both of these items.
From Alabaster: Wolves # 5,  a villain reveals his true form:

***

Next up is the webcomic Pure of Heart, which involves "Werewolf royalty, infidelity, and a washed-up pop star." It can either be read at Tapas (the link above) or at its own website (where the following links are from).

In the prologue, a newly-wedded husband gives his wife a very big and furry surprise.

When he introduces his wife to his parents, all hell breaks loose (make sure to read the next page as well).

When the marriage undergoes further strain,  the husband proceeds to freak out. There's also a very brief TF later on.

Shokugeki no Soma (Cat-to-Lion Transformation)

My thanks to a Youtube user named Francesco for recommending this rather unusual scene from Season 3 Episode 4 of the cooking anime Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma (there's an anime for everything, isn't there?). It shows a cat turning into a lion. As Francesco writes, "the transformation itself is a metaphorical image used to refer to Soma (the red-haired guy in the video)."

"One-Punch Man" and "Kekkai Sensen and Beyond" (Muscle Growth/Monster Transformation)

Thanks to Ian Ricky for finding and recommending this clip, which features "a muscle growth transformation from the villain Lord Boros":

Thanks to Shiron for recommending a pair of muscle growth scenes from Kekkai Sensen and Beyond episode 8. I've cued this video to start at the second one (at 16:12) since it's more detailed, but you can view the first scene at 11:53.

As a muscle growth bonus, here's a suggestion from lamarcodon, which he describes as "just a goofy little fun video I thought you guys might like":

Tiger Beer and Winner Taco Commercials (Multiple Transformations)

Daymon here, with multiple transformations from the following beer commercial:

As a bonus, here's the well-known (to TF fans) Winner Taco commercial. Normally we refrain from posting material that's already at Shadowlord Inc., but since this copy has superior visual quality we've make an exception. Our thanks to Antony for finding and recommending this copy:

The New Gate (Werewolf Transformation)

Daymon here with a werewolf transformation from the New Gate manga:

Resident Evil (Monster/Mutant Transformations)

My thanks to Ian Ricky for finding these videos and providing descriptions. As everyone probably knows, Resident Evil is a long-running video game franchise that features various people turning into nasty-looking monster-zombie-mutant-things.

* From Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicle: "Claire Redfield's ally Steve Burnside mutates and transforms into a muscular monster after being injected by T-Veronica Virus."

His reversion and death start at the 03:25 mark.

***

The next three selections are from Resident Evil 4, which features various mutations caused by a virus known as Las Plaga.

"Ramon Salazar merged with his bodyguard and the Queen Plaga, mutating into a plant-like parasitic creature that took an entire second story wall, with two large and dangerous tentacles on each side."

"Bitores Mendez mutates into a grotesque, inhuman form. His fingernails became elongated, sharp talons; a pair of segmented limbs burst from his back, and his torso was split by a thick, spinal column-like structure edged by tiny, moving legs, greatly increasing his  height."

* "Saddler's parasite mutates his body into a large and powerful creature."

For partial TF fans there's also an arm mutation ("Jack Krauser mutates his arm into a large bladed claw that was completely bulletproof and dealt a huge amount of damage to fight the protagonist, Leon Kennedy.")

***

Next is a leech transformation from Resident Evil 0: "The young James Marcus revealed himself to Rebecca and Billy as the disguised queen leech."

***

Next, a monster mutation from Resident Evil 2,  "showing multiple stages of the transformation of Dr. William Birkin."

***

From Resident Evil Outbreak File #1, "a G-larvae creature mutates into an adult G which a group of survivors has to fight."

***

From Resident Evil 5, "Albert Wesker merges with Uroboros Virus and mutates himself to defeat the protagonists."

***

From Resident Evil 6, "a mutation muscle growth caused by C-Virus; a creature known as J'avo mutates his arm in similar fashion as Jack Krauser in Resident Evil 4."

"The antagonist Dr. Simmons first transforms into a lion-like monster":

Then he transforms into a T. Rex-like Monster at 9:54. He is finally defeated and reverts at 35:08 and dies.
