Phoenix (Werewolf Transformation)

Daymon here, with some lycanthropy from the manga series Phoenix, by the great Osamu Tezuka. We first see a young man's face being skinned and replaced with a wolf's:






Now, here's where it gets a bit confusing--the character's future incarnation is hit by some form of radiation and becomes hairier:




Meanwhile, his past incarnation get his muzzle cut, and after trying to heal the wound his wolf head starts to rot and melt away into a human face:








His future self on the other hand fully transforms into a wolfman after surviving an explosion:
